How to get to Shymbulak

Car

From Al-Farabi district along Dostyk district 13 km to the south until you get to Medeu base station. Park your car and hop on the gondola, or get closer to Medeu ice rink, where every 10 minutes from 9.00 to 20.00 on the weekdays and from 08.00 on the weekends, you can get a bus to Shymbulak.

Bus

Bus №12 from the bus stop at the crossroads of Dostyk district and Kurmangazy street everyday from 7:00 to 20:00 (every 30 min) to Medeu base station, where you can get on gondola, or Medeu ice rink (next stop) where you can hop on the bus that will take you to Shymbulak every 10 minutes from 9.00 to 20.00 on the weekdays and from 08.00 on the weekends.

Cable car

Get a ticket at the Medeu base station cashier offece and get on the gondola.

By eco-bus

From the high-mountain skating rink “Medeu” to the base station “Shymbulak” by eco-bus.
